VC3 Recording - Day 6

Day 6 of VC3's new CD was a day of tying up loose ends and completing all the viola parts.

Some vocal parts needed tidying up and Gabriel tried some different microphone set-ups. (At one stage I looked like an eastern European dictator giving a press conference) The results were/are excellent, I think.

Karen De Nardi worked extremely well and efficiently to record all her viola parts. Many of the charts were so brand new that she was learning them as she went. Such a professional.

So now, all that's left to be done is to record the last song to go on the CD, which means recording the piano, viola, voice and percussion parts. And then all that's left to be done is record Hugh's parts for the remaining 'trio' tunes and we're on the road to finishing.

Even before Hugh records the last couple of tunes, mixing of the other 6 songs can begin.

So much to do!
